School Council Trip to London

19th Sep 2018

Our school council had a fantastic day in London last week. The children went on the London Underground and arrived in Westminster. They saw famous buildings, statues and some famous red buses. A tour of Westminster Abbey came next followed by a look at the river Thames. Then came the highlight of the trip, a tour of the Houses of Parliament where the children saw a debate in progress. A walk to number 10 Downing Street came next where the children saw the soldiers and horses in Horse Guards Parade. Unfortunately the flag wasn't flying outside Buckingham Palace implying the Queen was not at home. All in all the children had an amazing time.
